Simply a catch-all for the often maddening overflow
Alice... great to see you joining us at Two Shoes Tuesday today! This is awesome, and I tend to agree with you, the noises in my head and heart at night so very often keep me from sleep. I so admire people who can say something perfectly in a minimal amount words, good job! :-)
Thanks Josie! I owe it to my time with the newspaper. Thank you also for keeping our brains working with such great prompts!
This is cute, Alice ~~ I never think of putting those two words together although I have spent many night where the road noise or other was soooo loud that no one could sleep. I much prefer the very quiet nights we now have away from all the noisy town things...
Those noisy nights never bothered me when I was a city girl Jim, but trying to go back after the stillness of the country makes for sleepless nights!
Our brains really entertain us with their meanderings at night and dig up the past and often laugh noisily in our faces at our failings. I hope I don't think of this tonight.
I can really identify with them laughing noisily at our failings!
I love that last line.
Thanks, I second guessed allowing that one to see the light of day.
so few words but they say so much... nicely written....lovely piece....thank you for writing it!
Thank you for reading, and for taking the time to comment.
This is an interesting take on the prompts. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks no, thank you.
I love that last line as well.
